Advanced Trading
1. Leverage Trading
Leveraged trading is the method of trading performed where the user borrows crypto assets in order to execute the trade, with the expectation of the crypto asset value increase and the subsequent plan to repayment of the asset borrowed while retaining the profit from the trade. However, the user will have to consider the risk from the possibility of the asset value loss risk where the loss value can exceed the loan value taken.
a) Margin Trading
User borrows funds directly from the exchange platform to purchase or sell crypto. After the trading position is closed, the settlement (loan repayment) is then done by the user.
b) Derivative Trading (Futures)
User utilizes contracts like futures to derive value from underlying crypto. Especially in Futures, where the contracts are traded based on the future value of the asset. However, this is an expiry date to the futures contract before which the settlement.
2. Grid Trading
Grid Trading is enabled for spot trading. In this type of trading, a trader, based in the observed highs and lows can set multiple buy orders at one time - all set below a reference price he has decided on. At the same time, sell orders are kept in the amounts higher than the buy price: thereby creating a grid of trades automatically executing during the price changes within the range.
3. Copy Trading for Futures Contracts (Coming Soon)
The platform, by merit of trading performance data analysis, will provide the list of signal providers (traders whose trades would be copied, also called as KOL) and rank them on the basis of ROI and other criterias.
For these list of signal providers to select from, the users (copiers) will be able to see the performance of the trades vis-a-vis time period within which those profit percentages were achieved, and can opt for the to copy trade. User can opt between a fixed amount to copy trade by, or a proportion. After the user subscribes to the signal provider, the system will sync the KOL's opening and closing actions to the copier automatically. The copy trading activity, once entered into, can be ended by the user anytime.
4. Decentralized Trading (Under Development)
Within a separate decentralized trading environment of Koinbay, users can connect their decentralized wallets and perform spot trading & futures trading
